On May, 7th 2011, the famous jazz-trumpet player Claudio Roditi played in the concert series "Jazz with Strings" of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra (Connecticut/USA). Among the music he performed there were some titles especially arranged for trumpet, jazz-ensemble and strings by Steffen Drabek. The audience loved these arrangements and also the press review was very positive. Chuck Obouchowsky wrote for the "Hartford Courant":
"Drabeks arrangements added a welcome contemporary dimension to the concert."
